CALICO
Founded in 1997, CALICO brings together law enforcement officers, child welfare workers, prosecutors and other professionals to respond sensitively and effectively to allegations of child abuse, while skilled mental-health clinicians provide support to impacted families. CALICO is the only child advocacy center in Alameda County, California, and it serves approximately 700 abused children every year.
RAINN
RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.
Equal Rights Advocates
Founded in 1974, Equal Rights Advocates (ERA) is a national civil rights organization dedicated to protecting and expanding economic and educational access and opportunities for women and girls.
